A sneak peek

 I am working on kind of a bigger project

and thought I would share just a 

Small peek of what is to come 

This is an old wooden spool.  

I am obsessed with old wooden spools 

and I have probably more than my fair share 😉

I used all older products except for the pumpkin stamp

that is from Woodsware crafts.

I will be posting more of my big project soon

Made some fun baby cards

 As I was going through my stash 

I found these beautiful baby papers

and I just had to use them!

But I could not find one baby stamp, 

not one 

not anywhere in my stash! 

I guess I donated them or gave them away at some point

But I did find these fun metal dies. 

I think the cards turned out kinda cute 😊

I did a little shopping!

 I did it!  Placed my first crafty orders in quite some time!

First I had to get some new stamps from 

Unity Stamp Company

I also got some of their new to me dies

Can’t wait to use these!

Next I ordered from

They carry so many different brands and products

That it was difficult to narrow it down!

I am looking forward to trying

When I saw that Christmas sentiment that says 

“A thrill of hope” 

I knew I just had to have this set!

Now I just need my new trimmer to arrive

 so I can cut a straight line and I’ll be in business.

I made this for a ‘polk-a-dot’ challenge 

At Splitcoast Stampers.

Layered her up with some pretty paper

 and she was good to go!

Fridge pickles

 One thing we look forward to every summer is

Fridge pickles!

Here is the recipe I use

Cucumbers (about 7)

1 cup of onion

1-2 cups of sugar (yes that’s a lot )

1 cup white vinegar

2 tsp of salt

1 tsp celery seeds

you can also add sweet or banana peppers  

Mix all together and let them sit in the fridge and enjoy

I’m back!

 After several years of moves, school, new career, grandchildren and breast cancer…

 I am back and ready to craft! 

 I haven’t shopped for stamping or paper goodies for years so I’ll be using up some of my things. 

Things that are at least 10 years old over the next few weeks/ months until I get in the  groove again. 

I am slowly trying to organize and reacquaint myself with what supplies I have, digging through boxes sorting and tossing hoping to get ready to craft next week.  

I can’t wait.
